Alpha RC's new range of well priced, high quality, high performance engines have been incredibly well received throughout the world on there debut. Despite Alpha RC being a very new company to the RC industry the foundation of the company is built on many years of nitro engine reasearch, development and expertise. Consequently, since there original debut each and every one of Alpha RC's range of engines have been very highly regarded by racers of all levels.

The Alpha Plus S852 is one of the two 5+2 specifications offered by Alpha Plus, with the S852 being the engine designed purely for super strong bottom to mid-range performance and with a more than respectable top end RPM. Consequently then the S852 would be an ideal engine for anyone wanting a lot of bottom end power, which if your on a small, tight or twisty track, or a track where lots of power is necessary to clear jumps etc, then the S852 would be the only choice for your 1/8 buggy. With the S852 having such a great ammount of bottom end power, this engine would also then make a great choice for anyone wanting a more fuel efficient and driveable engine for use in a truggy.
Each engine comes complete with a 0.10mm head shim which is necessary for operating the engine on 30% fuel and a set of 2 alternative carb restrictors, to help further tune the engines power and economy.

The Alpha Plus F850 is the ideal club racer engine, featuring a 5-Port construction the engine provides excellent bottom end to mid-range power, with a good ammount of top end RPM. Overall however the engine feels rather linear, controllable and retains a good fuel economy over its quicker counter parts in the same range. This then would make an great choice for 1/8 buggys for use on small tracks, or drivers just initially stepping up to the power of a true .21 race engine.

The Alpha Plus Z852 is one of the two 5+2 specifications offered by Alpha Plus, with the Z852 being the fastest engine offered by Alpha with a tremendous ammount of power at the higher part of the RPM range. This then makes the Z852 the ideal choice for a 1/8 buggy on larger, more open tracks where its perhaps not quite as critical to have power to clear certain obstacles and jumps.

New from Go Engines for 2009 are the GX Series, having undergone significant development around the world with some very respected engine developers this is the result. Never at any point has any engine offered these features at this price. Using a TiNi hardening treatment on the crank and gudgeon pin makes the engine truly rebuildable as well as reducing friction and increasing rpm. The same treatment is used on the carb slide to give a smooth movement throughout the operating temp range of the motor.
Revised porting on the liner and crank timing make this much more driveable whilst not hurting power delivery and increasing run time.

Turbo head button and T3 Turbo Plug also included ? NB The T3 is the default plug for these engines.
